Liking, saving and downloading sermons
Each sermon in the archive carries a row of small buttons. They are easy to miss and they are the most useful part of the page.
Like
A quiet way of marking a message that fed you. Likes also tell us what is being returned to, which is what fills Most played on a speaker page.
Save for later
The one to reach for most. It puts the message in Saved for later in your library without interrupting what you are listening to. Good for when someone recommends something and you have no time right then.
Add to a playlist
Puts the message into one of your own lists. There is more on playlists in its own guide.
Download
Saves the sound file onto your phone or computer. Once downloaded it is yours: it plays in your normal music or files app, with no internet and no data.
This is the right choice before a journey, or if your connection is unreliable. A full message is a sizeable file, so download on wifi where you can.
Downloading is not the same as saving. Saving puts a bookmark in your library and still needs the internet to play. Downloading puts the actual file on your device.
Liking and saving need an account
They have to be kept somewhere, and that somewhere is your account. Downloading does not: anyone can download.
