RCN Ghana Radio On air

Putting RCN Radio on your phone

RCN Ghana Radio can sit on your home screen and open like any other app, with no store to visit and almost no space used.

On Android

Scroll to the bottom of any page and press Install the app. Your phone asks you to confirm, and the icon appears on your home screen.

On iPhone

Apple does things differently. In Safari, press the Share button at the bottom of the screen, scroll down the list, and choose Add to Home Screen. The site reminds you of this at the bottom of the page.

What changes

It opens without the browser bars, so you get the whole screen, and it starts faster. Everything else is the same, and you stay signed in.

What works without a connection

Worth being clear, because installed apps usually promise more than this one does.

Pages you have already visited will open again with no connection, so the app does not simply fail when the network drops. Audio is a different matter: sermons are streamed, so playing a message still needs a connection.

If you want something to listen to with no network at all, use Download on the sermon itself. That puts the file on your phone, and it plays from your own files app.
