Live chat and sending a prayer request
During a live service two buttons sit beside the broadcast.
Live chat
Live chat opens the conversation happening alongside the broadcast, so you can read what the congregation is saying and join in.
The chat is carried by YouTube, which means two things. To write in it you need to be signed in to a YouTube account, and that is separate from your account here. And at times the chat is limited to people who have subscribed to the channel, in which case you can still read but not write until you subscribe.
Reading needs nothing at all.
Prayer request
Prayer request opens WhatsApp with a message to the church already started. Write your request and send it. It goes to the ministry, not into the public chat, so it is the right choice for anything you would not want others to read.
The button works whether or not a service is on air.
Which to use
Chat for fellowship during the service. WhatsApp for anything personal or urgent.
